Who We Are

We are a group of caring professionals, with excellent credentials:  

Joy Ruiz-Molleston, MD, FASAM has had over 25 years experience treating patients, both adults and children.

She is Board Certified in Addiction Medicine. She is also a fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine. She knows slight Spanish. She has participated in many medical missions to foreign countries. She volunteers annually as a physician in a Catholic Shrine in France.

Our next provider is Alan Shulman, MD. He has extensive experience in Emergency Medicine & Family Practice, and graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine. He is very personable and amiable.

Our next provider is Oscar Ortega, MD. He is a seasoned Family Practitioner, and is well-known in the south Tacoma and Lakewood areas. He speaks fluent English, Cebuano, Visayan & Tagalog. He is very friendly and well-liked by patients.

Our youngest provider is Theodore Green, III.   He is a nurse practitioner and graduated from Georgetown University in Washington DC. He is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association, and works for us full-time.  He is very affable and has good bedside manners.

Languages we speak

Romeo Puzon, MD is a retired military colonel, and is an expert in Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Family Practice. He also practices Addiction Medicine on the side, and is Suboxone-certified. He is also a veteran of many foreign medical missions, including those missions to Vietnam, and other third world countries.

Cirilo Adao, PA has been in practice more than 25 years. He has great bedside manners and is an excellent member of the Team. He, like the rest of the Team, is also Suboxone-certified.

Our nurse care manager for the Suboxone Program  is Christine Madick. She also assists in finding housing for our patients, in addition to hooking them up with various social services.  

We have a diverse clinic and the languages spoken in the facility include not only English but also Spanish and Tagalog.
